In this clip Hassan speaks about a visit by the then Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Conor O'Boyle and President Michael D. Higgins to Lebanon where they attended a medal parade for the Irish Battalion in UN Post 2-45 [April 2015]. Hassan's son, Ali, translated the President's speech and afterwards Lt Gen O'Boyle introduced Hassan to President Higgins saying Hassan 'worked with us [for] more than [a] quarter century and he used to save our lives.' He speaks of his pride in that moment.
