In this clip Hassan speaks about Operation Grapes of Wrath in 1996. He refers to contacts between the Irish in UNIFIL, the Lebanese Armed Forces (through Captain Said Serhan, LAF Intelligence Officer in Tibnin) and Hezbollah during the Operation to allow Irish troops to move around to rescue people from villages, to collect bodies or to deliver food. He explains that the Irish Battalion were also in contact with the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) through UNIFIL Headquarters in Naqoura to inform the IDF when UNIFIL soldiers were on the ground.
